Dear Spark Zen Readers,
Thank you from the bottom of my bottomless heart for your support. I began Spark Zen three years ago with zero subscribers and no social media presence. Now there are 1,400 of you! I truly appreciate your presence, your comments, and your interest in Zen/Buddhism. I hope that each one of you has a lovely holiday season however you celebrate. I’ll leave you with the transcendental and profound wisdom of the Persian poet Rumi. Take good care, Rev. Shōren Heather
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field.
I will meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas,
language.
even the phrase each other
does not make any sense. — Rumi
indeed.
Thank you for your work.
