Hi Raghav, Please forgive my delayed response. I think it's helpful to have someone as a guide if questions arise about meditation practice or Zen teachings, etc. There are so many websites and videos out there these days that you can find some authentic teachers that way. Happy to offer suggestions if you'd like. However, I would not let not having a teacher stop you from beginning Zen practice? Thoughts?
I'd start with making a meditation schedule that you feel you can maintain during the week. It's helpful to meditate first thing in the morning and then in the late afternoon or before retiring. If you're interested in Soto Zen, there's many, many places to learn, one is the Zen Studies Podcast. I hope you find enough resources to help you begin. Thank you for being here. Bowing.
