Waldorf Education has a rainbow bridge ceremony when children move from Kinder to 1st grade in which the community holds the edges of a very long rainbow died silk while these children walk beneath it from the arms of their kinder teachers to those of their first grade teacher. It's an extension of the anthroposophical myth idea of children's spirits traveling along the rainbow as they incarnate into being. Loved the talk and learning more about the various ways in which we can hold a rainbow-type consciousness.

Hi Nicole, thanks so much for this information about Waldorf education. Sounds like a lovely and important ritual. Glad you enjoyed the talk. It was fun to give and I got to mention unicorns and rainbows in a talk about Zen. A wish fulfilled! Thanks for being here (and let's connect soon!). Bows.
