Thanks for reading! There's always a wonderful book of the same title by Darlene Cohen, who was a profound Zen teacher. Bows.

It's not always easy to be grateful to be able to do chores, however, if I remember that all the reasons that I am able to do chores, there's certainly a lot to be grateful for: the apartment I live in, the job that affords me the apartment, all the conveniences that make it much easier to do chores, and living in a war-free place (though we do have lots of conflict and violence in the USA). All of these make it possible for me to take care of my space and my life. Thanks for reading and commenting. Have a grateFULL day. Bows.

Just before reading your comment I was sitting outside and just inside my garage to stay out of the rain. I slug caught my eye as it set off like a sloth down the driveway, doing its chores. Your comment made me wonder how I might do my chores more like that slug wholeheartedly letting things arise under foot and getting things done. You have a grateFULL day as well. Bows.
