I was blown away by this conversation. Jody’s wisdom is impressive and inspiring. Heather, you are were the perfect counterpart adding as usual, your own bit of wisdom. Thanks so much for this! I will just add that I would like some explanation about Jody’s comment that one has to be uncomfortable to awaken - at least I think they said this. Also, saying that too much foreknowledge can block direct experience - explains an attitude I have had for my entire adult life - from not wanting to read bios of authors or analyses of artwork to researching places visited before encountering them. They found the words for this attitude. Brilliant!
