I will just add that I would like some explanation about Jody’s comment that one has to be uncomfortable to awaken - at least I think they said this. Also, saying that too much foreknowledge can block direct experience - explains an attitude I have had for my entire adult life - from not wanting to read bios of authors or analyses of artwork to researching places visited before encountering them. They found the words for this attitude. Brilliant!
